Dr. Bradley M. Harris

Dr. Harris is a life-long West Tennessee native. He was born in Jackson, and completed high school in Bolivar. In 1970 he graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelors Degree in chemistry. He received his degree in dentistry (D.D.S.) from the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1974, and was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. After six years of general dental practice in Memphis, Dr. Harris entered training to become a specialist in root canals (Endodontist) at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond. Upon certification in 1982 he returned to Memphis to become Director of the Division of Endodontics of the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. During that time he also practiced endodontics on a part-time basis. In 1987 he left the University to enter full-time private practice. Dr. Harris is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association and its component organizations, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Memphis Dental Society where he has served as an alternate delegate to the Tennessee Dental Association House of Delegates. He is a member of the Tennessee Association of Endodontists, the Southern Endodontic Study Group, and is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists.  In addition, he is on the staff of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Harris and his wife have four children and three granddaughters. He is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Evangelical Christian School, and is a current member of the Board of Covenant College. He has been an elder at Riveroaks Presbyterian Church, and currently serves as president of the Board of Trustees at Riveroaks. His hobbies include reading, and listening to audio books on history, theology and non-fiction.  Other favorite pastimes are hiking, swimming, walking the family dogs, photography and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Contact Dr. Harris at brad.harris@memphisrootcanal.com.

Dr. L. Kevin Wells

Dr. L. Kevin Wells is a native Mississippian who received his Bachelor of Science from Mississippi College.  He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi and relocated to Columbus, Ohio to complete a residency in General Practice Dentistry.   Dr. Wells entered private practice in Columbus, Ohio prior to beginning his specialty training in endodontics at The Ohio State University.  He earned a Master’s Degree along with his Certificate of Graduate Studies in Endodontics and has published his Master’s research in an article in the Journal of Endodontics.

Dr. Wells is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the Memphis Dental Society, and the Tennessee Association of Endodontists.  He serves as the representative for the Memphis Dental Society to the Tennessee Dental Association’s Young Dentists Committee.  In 2013, he received the Outstanding Young Dentist of the Year Award from the Memphis Dental Society for his contributions to organized dentistry in the community of Memphis.  Dr. Wells also teaches part-time at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in the Department of Endondontics. He has been inducted into the Richard Doggett Dean Honor Society of the UT College of Dentistry.  He was elected into this society by student vote for his excellence in clinical teaching.

He is married to Martha, a Georgia native, who is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in the department of Pediatric Dentistry.  They have two sons, Luke and Sam. When not at work, Dr. Wells enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling, and playing golf.
