Dr. Cain is a native of Memphis, TN who earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is married to Laura Hill Cain, who also grew up in Memphis and works as a dental hygienist. In his free time, Dr. Cain enjoys spending time outdoors with Laura and their dog, traveling, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.
Dr. Cain graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where he received the Dean's Leadership Award and was inducted into both the Richard Doggett Dean Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He then pursued his specialty training at the University of Florida, earning a certificate in endodontics and a master of science degree. During his residency, Dr. Cain was recognized with the AAE/Dentsply Sirona Award for his research presentation at the national AAE (American Association of Endodontics) meeting. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association.
