Meet Dr. Harris

Endodontist Bradley M. Harris, DDS

Dr. Harris is a life-long West Tennessee native He was born in Jackson and grew up in Bolivar. He earned his Bachelors degree from Wheaton College (IL), and his degree in dentistry (D.D.S.) from the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1974 where he was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and the Deans Society.

After six years in general dental practice in Memphis, Dr. Harris entered training to become a specialist in root canals (Endodontist) at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond. In 1982 he returned to Memphis to be director of the Division of Endodontics at the University of Tennessee until 1987 when he left to enter full-time private practice. He continues his association with the University of Tennessee as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics. Dr. Harris is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association and its component organizations, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Memphis Dental Society. He is a member of the Tennessee Association of Endodontists, the Southern Endodontic Study Group, and is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and the International College Dentists. Additionally, Dr. Harris is on the staff of Methodist Le Bonheur Hospital and is a Board of Director for the American Association of Endodontists. 

Dr. Harris is an elder at Riveroaks Presbyterian Church, and currently serves as president of the Board of Trustees.  He is also Trustee on the Board of Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA. His hobbies include reading and listening to audio books on history, theology and non-fiction.  Other favorite pastimes are hiking, gardening and photography.  Dr. Harris and his wife have four grown children and nine grandchildren.
